Soprano Jaclyn Beck is an emerging artist whose singing is distinguished by its warmth, resonance, and dramatic sincerity. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Music in Vocal Performance at the University of Oregon, where she was recently awarded Third Prize in the 2025 University of Oregon Vocal Competition and cast as Salud in next season’s production of Manuel de Falla’s La Vida Breve.
Jaclyn received her Bachelors of Music Education in 2017 from the University of Oklahoma receiving a 4.0 GPA and going on to teach both in public schools and in private studios since then.
Her operatic repertoire spans both lyric and spinto roles, with performances including arias such as Puccini’s Vissi D’arte, Boito’s L’altra notte in Fondo al Mare, and Massenet’s Prince Charmant in Cendrillon. Known for her ability to balance vocal richness with clarity of line, Jaclyn is equally at home in the intensity of verismo and the elegance of French repertoire.
In addition to her stage work, Jaclyn is the founder and director of a thriving private studio in Eugene, Oregon, where she offers voice, piano, and strings to adult learners of all skill levels. Her teaching reflects the same artistic values that guide her performances: curiosity, emotional connection, and disciplined technical work.
Jaclyn’s artistry is guided by a deep commitment to storytelling through music. With a voice described as warm, versatile, and expressive, she seeks to bring authenticity and nuance to every performance. Her long-term goals include expanding her professional career as a soloist in opera and concert repertoire across the West Coast, while continuing to make music education accessible to adult singers and musicians. She values the ways in which history, art, and community coincide and works to bring a positive energy to every environment she is a part of.
